Our Franchise Structure

Although Stretch-n-Grow is growing strongly in other countries it is a new Franchise System in New Zealand. The franchisor has trialled and owns one Stretch-n-Grow outlet in Auckland and has used this experience to customise the franchise to ‘the New Zealand way’.

In New Zealand the franchise has been set up in a company called Stretch-n-Grow (NZ) Ltd owned jointly by Melissa and David Bowen and this company holds the New Zealand rights to Stretch-n-Grow from Stretch-n-Grow USA.

Franchisees will operate either under their own names or in private companies and trade under the Stretch-n-Grow name in New Zealand subject to the conditions and provisions contained in the franchise agreement.

Stretch-n-Grow (NZ) Ltd employs Melissa and David to manage the franchise on a day to day basis to:

provide support and advice to franchisees

maintain and build the STRETCH N GROW Brand in NZ

negotiate with and select ‘approved’ suppliers

design, amend, test and implement new programmes

ensure minimum standards are maintained

Stretch-n-Grow (NZ) Ltd has no ownership or interest in any of the ‘approved suppliers’ nominated in the franchise agreement.

To ensure effective ongoing communication with franchisees, Stretch-n-Grow (NZ) Ltd will develop, maintain and consult with a Franchise Advisory Board (FAB) made up of elected franchisees and the NZ management of Stretch-n-Grow.
