What
Type of Franchise Do We Operate?
Franchising began in the United States
early last century. Large companies like
Coca Cola, General Motors and Ford began
distributing their goods and services through
independent local business owners. Franchising
has never looked back and today franchising
exists and is growing strongly in virtually
every country in the world.
Franchised businesses are proving to have
a high overall success rate, even in tough
economic times. While it is estimated that
up to 80% of all new businesses fail, established
franchised businesses have a 80% success
rate. Why?
Franchise owners are able to take advantage
of the successful, proven track record and
methods of doing business that the franchise
company has developed.
Franchise formats vary from the very loose
licence approach where the franchisor provides
the ‘product’ and it is up to
the franchisee to work out how to sell it
to the very formalised standardised approach
where the franchisee works within a predefined
framework that covers every aspect of the
business. The latter approach is known as
‘full business format’ and is
typified by the attributes of commitment,
consistency
and conformity.
Stretch-n-Grow is a full business format
franchise where all franchisees must work
within pre-designed and tested programmes
and procedures and guidelines. In this way
we strive to consistently deliver the very
best possible programmes to our customers
– the children of New Zealand - and
to the future of our country.
